Write a measurable goal with the Goal Wizard

Turn a rough idea into a SMART goal with a baseline, criterion, and timeline.

4 min read

The four steps

  1. 1Choose the student and the domain (academic, communication, behavior, functional, motor).
  2. 2Pick a goal stem from the bank or write your own.
  3. 3Set the condition, behavior, criterion, and timeline.
  4. 4Review the assembled goal, adjust the wording, and save it to the student.

Baselines matter

Enter the student's current performance as the baseline. Progress charts and the AI narrative both compare against it, so a goal without a baseline produces weaker reports.

Reusing goals

At annual review you can carry a goal forward into the new plan year with an updated baseline instead of retyping it.
